Using Flash Macromedia as a client for Scanned maps.

Build you own google earth alike viewer for your own maps. These components are based on an opens source project inside the European Environment Agency and can be used totaly for free. Get the compiled components and classes. or Get the source code. and use them on your own web sites. Our benefit is that you help us understanding the weaknesses of the components so we can improve them and make our own applications more stable. From april 2006 we started building a components that open the first doors towards scanned or static maps and allow to interact with them inside flash.You can mosaic 10 tiles using a world reference coordinate system. The functionality will be extended over time. Come regulary and find out.

What is supported today:

• load .jpg, .gif, .swf files.
• zoom in
• zoom out
• pan
• set movieclips on top of the image.
• multiple tiles can be put in a mosaic.
