Amsterdam is city on
the water. There are 165 canals and 1281 bridges! We had a wonderful boat cruise. Canals are not deep - about 3 meter. Our well humor-sensed guide has told that the first meter of water is just a mud, second - old bicycles failed to water, and only the third is for boating... :)

Some people actually live on the boats. It looks even comfortable! And the big 4-levels boat is a tree-star hotel ("BOTEL"). If you don't have sea-sickness - you are welcome! |

Amsterdam has a lot of old buildings with unique architecture. But now this is super international city. You almost don't hear Dutch speaking people on the street! |
